The trade needs to look for a new perspective when it comes to the people — the people are not a necessary evil, nor a rising cost centre, nor a scarce resource… …although if you pay poorly you may be creating a sense of all of the above. The people are a source of skill experience and heritage that can help to make better wine, if only we can flip the switch on what have been horribly ineffective and non-inclusive labour practices that have prevented the making of better wines for decades. #gwcothemes2017
